Accomodation and Venue

The workshop will be held at the Aula Seminari of the Dipartimento di Fisica of Università della Calabria in Arcavacata di Rende.

The suggested accomodation is Ariha Hotel, that offered a special fares of 50 euros per night in single room and 60 euros per night in double room. Prices also include breakfast.

In order to obtain the special fare, participants should mail the hotel at info[at]arihahotel.com (or call at +39 0984 401010) and specify that they will attend the "Workshop 7-8 ottobre del Dipartimento di Fisica Unical in onore del prof. Pierluigi Veltri". Please, do not book through the online form present on the Ariha Hotel website, otherwise you will not get the special price.

How to reach Università:

• Airport:
  The Università della Calabria can be easily reached from the international airport of Lamezia Terme (SUF), which is about 50 km far from Università della Calabria in Rende. Shuttle service from and to the airport can be reserved here.
  
• By car:
  The Università della Calabria is accessible from the A2 'Autostrada del Mediterraneo Salerno-Reggio Calabria' highway, taking the exit 'Rende' (Cosenza Nord).
• By train:
  The closest railway station is located in Paola (30 km far from Cosenza), where trains coming from different places in Italy usually stop. Once in Paola, you can both take a local train to Castiglione Cosentino (very close to the University) or to Cosenza railway station. Alternatively you can reserve a shuttle from and to the Paola railway station here.
